CLIENT NEEDS
Rough Trade, a group of independent record shops in the UK and the US, is releasing an app to connect their already thriving community of music addicts and serious vinyl collectors. The app serves as a marketplace to help people find where to buy rare releases and serves as a tool for cataloging and organizing personal vinyl collections. Rough Trade was seeking UX and UI design for the app.
CONCEPT
The brand identity is loud, essential, and stimulating, embracing self-expression and fearlessness with loud colors and font. The functionality and layout supports the users' primary goals of tracking down hard-to-find records and cataloging their own vinyl collections.
