CLIENT NEEDS
The Limit is an offshoot publication of STAB, a surfing magazine founded in 2004. The Limit focuses on the mentality, future, and culture of the individuals doing great things within the extreme sports community beyond surfing. The Limit needed a brand identity that stands apart from STAB and is recognizable for each quarterly release.
CONCEPT
The brand identity is rooted in authenticity, incorporating hand-drawn text and gritty imagery. The base identity is flexible, allowing each quarterly publication to have a new color feature, making each release highly recognizable.
